Charlie Puth releases new single 'Attention'
It’s time to pay ‘Attention’ as Charlie Puth is back with a brand new single.
After releasing his debut album back in 2016, ‘Attention’ gives us a glimpse into what we can expect from his sophomore record. Co-written by Charlie & J Kash, the track is a slick offering which marks a growth in Charlie’s sound.
‘Attention’ develops on the dance influences first heard during ‘We Don’t Talk Anymore’, but with an added groove. As usual, Charlie’s distinct vocals are a highlight, with the singer demonstrating his falsetto during the song. We predict big things for the new era of music from Charlie Puth!
Take a listen to ‘Attention’ below.
The track was unveiled during a Los Angeles pop-up art project, which takes place at 8017 Melrose Avenue. The Attention Room is an “immersive music exhibit”, a partnership between Artist Partner Group (APG), Atlantic Records and Spotify. The purpose of the space is to replicate the brain’s reaction to receiving attention. The infinity tunnel features a series of LED lights, whilst Charlie’s ‘Attention’ plays.
The exhibit is open to the public until April 30, between 7pm – 11pm on weekdays and 1pm – 11pm on the weekend. If you’re not in the Los Angeles area, you can take a virtual look here or get a quick glimpse via Charlie’s Instagram post below.
