John Cena Is Doing Damage Control Ahead Of Nikki Bellas Upcoming Tell-All

Total Bellas star Nikki Bella reportedly has a tell-all in the works, and her ex, Trainwreck star John Cena, is not happy about it. The wrestler recently posted a cryptic tweet that seemed to be a comment on his failed relationship with Bella.

“Beware those who think you owe them happiness at the expense of your own well-being,” wrote Cena, and Bella appeared to respond the next day.

According to In Touch Weekly, Cena heard that his ex was writing a memoir, and his recent tweet was “damage control.” An insider says that there is “still some bitterness” between the exes, and he is worried about what Belle will reveal in the new book.

Bella’s Twitter followers immediately started showing their support after her tweet, with many reminding the retired wrestler why the relationship failed. One person told her to remember Cena’s “strict voice” that called all of the shots in Bella’s life, and another wrote that Cena didn’t know what he had, and didn’t treat her like a life partner.

The source says that Bella will write about her life, and she wants the story to inspire and empower women. They added that it would be impossible for Bella to skip over her six-year relationship with Cena and their broken engagement.

The former couple called it quits in July 2018, and Bella said at the time that after she called off the engagement, they tried to work things out so they could move forward with their wedding. However, after a lot of time and soul-searching, they decided to go their separate ways.

Bella has since moved on with her Dancing With the Stars partner, Artem Chigvintsev, and cameras have spotted John Cena with Shay Shariatzadeh. When the pictures of Cena and Shariatzadeh first surfaced, Bella said on The Bellas Podcast that Cena was one of the people in her life who has made her an amazing person. And, because of how much she hurt him, when she saw him smiling she felt happy for him.
