Mary Lynn Rajskub Net Worth $8 Million
Having grown up in a middle-class family of Irish, Czechoslovak and Polish ancestry, Mary Lynn was encouraged towards acting and performance arts since childhood. She picked-up a clarinet when she was in school, and together with the school band played at various functions, while she also acted as Frenchie in the musical “Grease”. After high school she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her career, but while trying to land any role she worked as a waitress in a Hard Rock Café, and held the ticket-taker position at the Beverly Center movie theater.
She started by playing Oompa-Loompa in a theater production of “Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory” in a local theater, however, she soon moved to screen roles, and spent the ‘90s building her name with one-time appearances in such TV series as “NewsRadio” (1998), and “Shasta McNasty” (1999), and then played Chloe in 15 episodes of the TV comedy series “Veronica’s Closet”. This role had put her on the Hollywood map, and little by little more notable roles came Mary Lynn’s way. She featured in the comedy film “Road Trip” (2000), and in 2002 made it into the cast of the romantic comedy film “Sweet Home Alabama”, starring Reese Witherspoon, Patrick Dempsey and Josh Lucas. 2003 was decisive for Mary Lynn’s career, as she was selected for the role of CTU systems analyst Chloe O’Brian in the TV action thriller series “24” (2003-2009), starring Kiefer Sutherland. She was first credited as recurring role, but after two years she became main cast, and fans just fell in love with her character; this increased Marry Lynn’s net worth to a large degree. While the show lasted she made numerous differing appearances, as her rise to stardom continued. In 2006 she appeared in the crime thriller film “Firewall” with Harrison Ford in the lead role, and in 2008 played Lynn in the comedy “Sunshine Cleaning” (2008), followed in 2009 with a role in the Academy Award- nominated romantic drama “Julie & Julia”, starring Meryl Streep and Amy Adams.
Following the series end, it became quite easy for Mary Lynn to find new engagements, and she continued with TV roles, such as Janet in the TV series “How to Be a Gentleman” (2011-2012), and from 2013 to 2014 portrayed Bebe in the TV comedy series “2 Broke Girls”. Her next notable role was as Genevieve Mirren-Carter in the TV comedy crime series “Brooklyn Nine-Nine”, while more recently she featured in the comedy film “Wilson” (2017), starring Woody Harrelson, and will also appear in the upcoming comedy TV series “The Guest Book”, which is currently in post-production.
Regarding her personal life, Mary Lynn has been married to Matthew Rolph since 2009; the couple has one child together. However, Mary Lynn is known for her past relationships with such celebrities as David Cross, Jon Brion and Duncan Trussell, but she has also declared herself to be bisexual, and has dated women in the past; she apparently discovered this fact through an article published on the AfterEllen.com.
