Nicholas Ramirez died in a motorcycle accident

Police on Saturday identified Nicholas Ramirez, 23, of Belton, as the man who died after he was struck by a vehicle Friday morning.

The accident happened shortly after 6 a.m. on May 26 as Ramirez attempted to cross N. Main Street near the W. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave intersection.

First responders performed CPR on Ramirez, before transporting him by ambulance to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.
