Culpo revealed some of her workout secrets to HollywoodLife. She says that she makes sure to workout as much as she can. Even if she is busy or on the road, Culpo says that she still tries to do something. "I try to workout as many times a week as I can. Ideally, I workout five times a week but when I'm traveling for work or on set for 12+ hour days, it's more difficult to carve out time."
Culpo has amazing abs. When HollywoodLife asked her how she got those abs, Culpo answered that she did a lot of cardio exercises, and explained why it works. "Cardio is a huge part of getting abs! When I am running regularly, I can actually achieve abs comparable to when I am doing regular ab exercises. Cardio helps keep your BMI low and also stimulates your metabolism so it stays at a higher rate throughout the entire day. So your body is in fat burning mode for much longer, it's like the gift that keeps on giving."
Culpo doesn't just prioritize her workouts, she also makes time for recovery. She tells HollywoodLife that she likes to use a foam roller after an intense workout. "When I'm running a lot or strength training with heavier weight, I always make sure to stretch and foam roll a ton. This will keep your muscles from bulking up and becoming super dense."
For Culpo, working out is all about variety. She tells HollywoodLife, "I really like to switch up my workouts and it's important for me to incorporate some form of cardio. I would say an ideal workout combo for me would be Pilates/barre/P.volve and running."
Culpo tells Shape that she makes sure to eat veggies in her diet. However, she says that she likes to steam them instead of just eating them raw. "I think it's easier to digest [vegetables] when they're steamed, as opposed to raw," she explained.
