KEVIN Rudd has shared a Norman Gunston moment on social media.
The Prime Minister could be accused of getting a bit too personal, when he posted a picture of his bloody face blotted with toilet paper after a shaving mishap.
It went out to his 36,000 "followers".
"Note to self: when running out the door in the morning make sure you take care with the razor. It's sharp," Mr Rudd posted.
Links could be made to the political blood spilt in the Labor Party recently.
The picture has already received close to 700 "likes" on the photo-sharing website and is creating a lot of chatter on social media website Twitter.
Norman Gunston, played by actor and comedian Garry McDonald was a popular satirical television character in the 1970s. He was dubbed "the little Aussie bleeder".
Mr Rudd has a strong following on Twitter and Instagram and regularly uses social media to connect with voters.
His first post on Instagram since taking back the prime ministership last month was a picture of him on the phone to US President Barack Obama.
News Corp Australia revealed recently that Mr Rudd "followed" just 15 users on Instagram, one of which was Harry Styles - member of boy band One Direction.
