Taylor Swift's 'Look What You Made Me Do' Set To Dethrone 'Despacito'

Taylor Swift has finally released the debut single off her upcoming album Reputation. ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ is already estimated to dethrone the chart topping latin-pop banger ‘Despacito’ which has led the Billboard Hot 100 for 15 consecutive weeks.

Immediately after it’s release, it climbed to the #1 spot on iTunes in numerous countries such as the United States, Mexico, Malaysia, etc, signaling an intense sales rush.

If the song does take the #1 spot it’ll come as no surprise. Swift’s last debut single (‘Shake It Off’) from her last album, 1989 debuted at the #1 spot as well, becoming the 22nd song to debut at number one in Billboard chart history. With debut sales of 554,000 units, it became the largest single debut in 2014. It stayed on the chart for 50 consecutive weeks and has sold over 9 million copies in the United States alone.
