The Rock surprises cousin and WWE star Tamina and buys her a brand new house

The Rock’s generosity seems to know no bounds given his latest gift was a brand new house for WWE superstar Tamina.

The WWE legend is cousins with Tamina and just a week after he surprised his mum with a new home, he did the same for her.

In a lengthy Instagram post, the Hollywood A-Lister explained why it was so important to him to give this gift.

“Hard to explain these emotions for all of us as I led @saronasnukawwe thru her new door. This one felt good.

“Surprise cuz — enjoy your new home!!

“I’ve known my cousin Sarona since we were little kids growing up together.

“Man this girl’s gone thru some tough times, but regardless of what life’s thrown her way – she was ALWAYS determined to break the cycle and become a strong and inspiring single mom example to her two greatest inspirations — her daughters, Milaneta & Maleata

“It’s so damn hard to make it as a pro wrestler. And it’s even way harder to make it if you’re a woman.

“Sarona (like many amazing women in pro wrestling) made her mind up long ago that she was gonna walk the walk and earn her respect in pro wrestling and make sure that the hard times she’s experienced were always her REASON to WORK HARDER and never let it become the EXCUSE to GIVE UP.

“And that’s what she did. And that’s why my heart’s proud. Love you cuz and we always got your back,” The Rock wrote.

Tamina’s father, WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Snuka, came into The Rock’s legendary Anoa’i Family Tree when he married his second wife, Sharon Georgi. Her father was a Samoan Chief that was also blood brothers with Reverend Amituana’i Anoa’i. 

The Rock’s Grandfather, Peter Maivia, was blood brothers with Reverend Amituana’i Anoa’i and the two Samoan families - Anoa’i and Maivia - have considered themselves family ever since, even though by blood, technically they are not.

Tamina’s younger brother was also a WWE Superstar for a few years, first as Deuce, and then briefly as Sim Snuka.

Gifts like this aren’t a stretch too far for somebody like The Rock. Apart from being one of the most successful WWE stars ever, he has also been the highest grossing actor in Hollywood multiple years.

The Great One’s net worth is estimated to sit around $800m as of 2022. He has his own production company [Seven Bucks Productions] and is the owner of the XFL.
