The Young and the Restless (Y&R) Spoilers: Sage Learns Christian NOT Dead While at Fairview, Dr Ande
“The Young and The Restless” (Y&R) spoilers indicate that Sage Newman (Kelly Sullivan) may or may not be complicit in Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) committing her to Fairview Sanitarium. But the bottom line is, soon Sage’s life will be at risk as things spiral out of control.
Dr Sandy Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush) seems to convince Nick that Sage is out of control, obsessed with baby Sully and needs mental therapy. Nick listens to Dr A carefully, but then when Sage shows up to confront Nick for talking with the devious shrink, she slaps his face and that seals the deal.
This combative behavior is the deciding factor in Nick agreeing with Dr Anderson to commit Sage to Fairview against her will. This may, in fact, be a scheme cooked up between Nick and Sage to get her into Fairview to spy on the devious doctor rather than Nick seeing eye to eye with Dr A.
But whether Sage was in on the deal to put her into Fairview – or not – doesn’t matter. Either way, Sage will be under Dr Anderson’s control. And both Sage and Nick have underestimated the depths of Dr A’s evil schemes. What she will do once she has Sage in the loony bin and away from Nick?
No doubt, Dr Anderson will drug Sage to the gills and there’s no telling what she might do from there. Sandy could gaslight Sage with a crying baby – she could block Nick from seeing Sage just like she did to Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton) with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) – or worse…
Even if Sage is 100% competent and she and Nick agreed to put her into Fairview, by the time Dr Anderson is done with Sage, she may be not only on the brink of madness, but her life may be in danger. Sandy clearly wants to destroy both Sharon and Sage – likely because both were married to Nick.
The plot to make it appear that baby Christian died and then give him to Sharon as Sully will destroy both women and tear Nick’s life apart. Was that Sandy’s plan all along? Does she want to wreck everything in Nick’s so she can be there to scoop him up when he’s at his lowest?
But Sage will survive this ordeal and her savior will be Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) rather than Nick – according to Y&R spoilers. Adam won’t let the mother of his dead child languish under Dr Anderson’s control.
However dangerous Sage’s stay at Fairview may be, she will find out something critical – that her son Christian did not die. However, because Sage will be stark raving mad from drugs (or psychological torture) by that point, there’s a good chance that no one will believe her… at first!
But when Sully and Sharon’s DNA is tested and compared, as it will be, all of sudden Sage’s claims won’t seem so crazy!
Don’t miss a moment of Y&R to see all this drama unfold with Dr A tormenting Sage at Fairview, Nick’s world collapsing and Dr Anderson growing more desperate (and dangerous) as her plan unravels. And come back to CDL often for more “The Young and The Restless” spoilers.
